    January 18, 2024

    Call to Order:   
    A virtual meeting of SHRMA was held via Google Meets and began at 4:08 pm. It was presided over by Bonnie Rivers, president and recorded by Heidi Hand, secretary.

    Personal & Professional Wins:
    Bonnie asked the group to share any new personal or professional successes. Highlights included knitting projects, vacations, cooking, the joy of completing projects, and taking on new job responsibilities.

    Approval of Minutes:   
    The new meeting fee of $25 for members and $30 for non-members was confirmed. A motion to approve the minutes of the November and December meeting minutes was made by Heidi Hand, seconded by Bonnie Rivers and passed unanimously.

    Review of Financials:  
    A financial update was provided by Jennifer Stucker. The financial report will be provided at the February board meeting.

    Officer’s Updates:
    A programs update was presented by Bonnie Rivers. February through May meeting topics are planned and presenters are scheduled. 
    A membership update was presented by Brandy Dewar. Brandy is reviewing the membership list on SHRMA’s website as well as SHRM’s records. 
    A logistics update was presented by Heidi Hand and Priya Bowman. Meeting space has been reserved for 2024 meetings. Heidi will meet with Priya next week to discuss catering and other meeting logistics.
    A certifications update was presented by Brandy Dewar. The certification class begins tonight and seven people are registered. The group discussed raising the class certification fees next year. 

    Main Motions:
    Motion to approve the minutes of the November and December meeting minutes was made by Heidi Hand, seconded by Bonnie Rivers and passed unanimously by a show of hands.
