    Call to Order:   
    The SHRMA board meeting began at 4:00 pm at Bentley’s gathering room. It was presided over by Kansas Guthrie, president and recorded by Heidi Hand, secretary. This was a year-end thank you dinner and Kansas provided each board member with a SHRM logo jacket.

    Approval of Minutes:   
    The October meeting minutes will be reviewed at the next board meeting.

    Review of Financials:  
    The October financial report will be reviewed at the next board meeting.

    Officer’s Updates:
    •    President Report. Kansas and Jennifer shared information from the volunteer leader conference in Washington DC.

    Other Business:
    •    Kansas explained she would like to purchase an “Owl” camera in order to offer virtual meetings. Heidi made a motion to purchase an owl and Priya seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. 
    •    Ashley is interested in learning more about teaching a SHRM-CP certification class in 2025. New curriculum would need to be purchased. The board is interested in offering scholarships. The class would be held prior to one of the testing windows which are May 1 -July 15 and December 1 to February 15.
    •    The CLIF update is due by 12/31 and the SHAPE report is due ty 1/31.
    •    The board will schedule a 2025 strategy planning session in first quarter 2025.
    •    Kansas reminded the board they must attend meetings regularly in order to remain on the board. Board meetings will be held the third Wednesdays at 4 pm in 2025.
