Organizational Development - Key to Creating Healthy Organizations
Presentation Overview:
OD can be defined as “the art and science of creating healthy organizations.” That’s important because healthy organizations outperform “typical” organizations. Want your organization to thrive? That’s what OD practices are all about.
This meeting will use hands-on conversations at your tables to help you understand 2 OD tools at a boots-on-the-ground level. One aspect of OD is using the wisdom in the organization. We’ll use the wisdom in the room to define the characteristics of a healthy organization, then we’ll ask each participant to view their own organization objectively, thinking of 1 or 2 actions they can take to increase their organization’s health.
- Tuesday, October 8th
- 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- Broadway Commons, Keizer Room #205, 2nd Floor (accessible by elevator or stairs)
