    SHRMA Presents:

Power of Mindfulness, Authenticity and Influence

    Description:

Have you ever met someone who seems to get along with everyone, and are curious how they do it? Do you ever wonder why some people seem to easily get other people to accept their ideas?

This program will provide you with the power to become like that.

Have you ever seen a once good working relationship go off the rails into dark and dangerous territory?

This program will provide you with the power to turn those off-the-rails working relationships around.

This interactive event will include group discussions, power point visuals, Socratic questioning, scientific evidence, personal stories, and cognitive tools that can be used immediately after the program.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Understand the meaning and roles of mindfulness, authenticity, and influence (MAI) in achieving happy relationships at work and home.
    • Explore the connection between MAI and emotional intelligence.
    • Learn what destroys MAI and engenders conflict.
    • Discover how to inspire greater MAI in others.
    • Obtain the tools to help you put these concepts into action.

    Presenter:

    Doug Lundrigan

    Mater Trainer & Coach

To describe Doug, people closest to him use the words, “sincere,” “the most honest man I know,” “genuine,” “trustworthy,” and “the best leader I’ve ever had.”  Doug is known for his ability to balance evidence-based learning with intangible “warm and fuzzy” concepts.

Volunteer service is always an integral part of Doug’s life.  He has served in leadership roles with the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce education board, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Epilepsy Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, YMCA, and others.

Doug loves to help people achieve their highest potential.  He often says, “I would do this without payment if I didn’t need to make a living.”  He measures his success by how happy and successful people become after he coaches or trains them.  The Majority achieve a job promotion within a year.

Doug’s hobbies include family activities, guitar, racquetball, running, hiking, home improvement projects, gardening, and volunteer service.
