Our Mission

    SHRMA is committed to providing its members with superior personal and professional development opportunities.  SHRMA strives to maintain its focus in advancing the human resources profession through a variety of actions:

    • Encourage the advancement of the human resource field by providing the leadership and support towards training, development and education of our current and future work force;
    • Provide opportunities for professional development through meetings, seminars, workshops and participation in conferences;
    • Mentor those seeking to join the profession;
    • Provide a collective legislative voice in support of issues affecting our profession;
    • Promote human resources concerns through community involvement;
    • Encouragement our members to become involved with SHRMA volunteering opportunities and strive towards increasing the membership of our chapter.
