A tale of two worlds: Doing People Analytics in the best of the best worlds, and doing People Analytics in the real world. By 2010, People Analytics had started to take off in some of the world's leading companies: Google, Starbucks, AT&T. In the ensuing years, it became the new darling in Human Resources. Behind all the hype, most of us HR professionals diving into the world of People Analytics had no budget and no time for this additional function; and a lot of us are still trying to do it off the side of our desk. With case studies and Nicole's own personal experience launching People Analytics functions, we'll walk through best practices, what helps to make impact, and how to create value through People Analytics.

Nicole Ferguson stumbled upon People Analytics while working for the State of Oregon. She's held a variety of roles across the People Analytics discipline, and is currently the Head of People Analytics at EquipmentShare . When not working remotely, she spends time with her daughter, husband, four dogs, and three cats.
