    Conduct Effective Internal Investigations

If you are like most employers, you have a strong anti-harassment policy with some form of diversity training, both of which are designed to reduce or eliminate claims of harassment and discrimination in your workplace. The strength of an employer’s defense comes from its complaint resolution process and the effectiveness of its internal investigations into the complaints it receives. You don’t have to be Columbo or Inspector Cluso to conduct an investigation, but there are certain things you need to know in order to conduct an investigation correctly. This program teaches attendees how to address and investigate complaints of harassment and discrimination.

Jennifer Bouman-Steagall is a trainer for effective management which is the secret to a successful organization, and offers dynamic training programs that are just what your organization needs!

WHY DOES TRAINING MATTER? Truly successful organizations are those that can create engaged relationships and a workplace marked by mutual respect, appreciation and accountability. Teamwork and open communication are also critical to managing risk and achieving healthy, sustainable growth. Effective management training is the key to developing these areas of your business.

Genuinely passionate about training, I use one-on-one consultations, on-site training programs, and management-focused workshops to educate managers and HR professionals on a range of topics concerning employment laws, employee engagement, performance management, team communication, corporate culture, workplace diversity, supervisor skill development, policy enforcement, and other positive employment practices.

Participants leave my training sessions with the tools necessary to develop their own capabilities and that of their staff, along with a better understanding of how to balance the legal nuances of employment law with the current limitations and challenges of their workplace. Evaluations from my programs consistently reflect attendees’ appreciation for my ability to keep participants engaged throughout the learning process and my special talent for making complicated legal topics entertaining, understandable, and relatable to the workplace.

Clients consider me to be a trusted advisor, skilled advocate and a responsible business partner. My services include counseling employers on all areas of employment law, writing employment policies, conducting workplace investigations, and defending employers in state or federal court and at the agency level.
