    If Values Matter, Shouldn’t You Measure Them?

    Successful entities often attribute their success to an HR partner that understands the organization’s mission and values, and can acquire talent capable of being inspired by the organization’s mission while embracing its values.  Consider the inherent limitations burdening companies with uninspired employees who widely disregard their values.

    This session will introduce technology with Nobel Prize nomination credentials that can enhance HR professionals’ knowledge of their organization’s mission and values.   Attendees will be shown how to scientifically reconcile their organization’s mission with their candidates’ capacities for inspiration.  In addition, attendees will gain unprecedented, scientific insight regarding the alignment of their organization’s values with the thinking values of their applicants.

    Session objectives:

    • Learn how knowledge of an organization’s mission and values can be enhanced by deciphering them scientifically

    • Learn how insight regarding thinking values can make HR professionals more effective partners in an organization’s strategic planning process

    • Learn how to develop precise, scientifically supported forecast of human capital needs

    • Learn strategic applications of values-based testing tools in the area of talent acquisition

    Agents Aren’t Just For Hollywood

    It’s not easy managing organizational change that balances the expectations and needs of the organization, its employees, and other stakeholders.  A powerful change agent is required to effectively communicate and reinforce an organization’s core values and behavioral expectations.

    To be successful, it must help management overcome the biggest impediment to change.  That is that we cannot motivate others; motivation resides inside others because they are motivated by good that they inherently value.  Axiology, commonly known as Values Science, is the change agent that enables management to recognize the “good” from the perspective of others.

    This session will introduce Values Science, and its Nobel prize nomination credentials, as a change agent by leaders interested in optimally communicating their organization’s core values, vision, mission, and/or ethical behaviors. Attendees will gain valuable insight as to how to inspire people to consider things they otherwise would be unwilling to consider, and do things in ways they otherwise would not do.

    • Learn how values-based communication can strengthen strategic relationships with key individuals in an organization

    • Learn how to effectively convey an organization’s core values, vision, mission, and ethical behaviors with values-based communication methods

    • Learn how to effectively reinforce an organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through values-based supervision and coaching

    Presenter

    Don Everett (www.linkedin.com/in/donbeverett/) is the founder and CEO of Workforce Interactive.
