    HR analytics is an evidence-based approach that organizations use to predict future outcomes by evaluating past and current employee data. Due to the development of technology during the past few decades, data on human resources metrics has become more accessible.  Therefore, workforce analytics enables the organizations to look in depth at the on-going trends and correlations between individuals and their respective performances.

    One of the most important things that HR analytics does is improve the organizational and individual performance. Analytics also improve the effectiveness of HR practices and policies within an organization by enabling HR professionals to make smarter decisions. Thus, HR analytics are a basis of competitive advantage for those organizations that choose to put it to good use. Join us for this presentation to learn more about how you can best use HR analytics in the workplace.

    Presenter

    Mursal Nassimi, is a first-year MBA student at Willamette Atkinson Graduate School of Management. She did her undergraduates in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science at the Kabul University of Afghanistan. Prior coming to the U.S., she was worked with an USAID capacity building project of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Afghanistan in the human resources department. In addition, she acquired the experience of working in different organizations with multinational individuals from around world.

    Alexandra Dass is also a first year MBA candidate at Willamette Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Her undergraduate major was in Finance and  she worked for a year as a tax analyst before deciding to switch her focus to Human Resources. She was also a volunteer at a not-for-profit organization, CRY (Child Rights and You), in India.
